Wing Tzun vs. Latosa Escrima

Two disciplines, one method - they cover what the other leaves open.

Origin: Southern China - refined in the lineage of Yip Man.
Distance: All distances. The system covers long range, mid range and body-to-body, adapting to whatever the encounter requires.
Tools: Empty hand, with weapon work introduced at higher grades.
Method: A scientific, mathematical system - structure, geometry, sensitivity. Works regardless of size or strength.

Origin: Philippines - Latosa lineage of Filipino martial arts.
Distance: Long to close. Starts at weapon range and stays effective as the distance closes.
Tools: Stick, knife, and empty hand - all built on the same principles.
Method: Principle-driven, not choreography-driven - directly translatable to everyday objects.
